As many of you are aware, Hurricane Ike is headed toward Houston, predicted to make landfall as a Category 3 storm late Friday or early Saturday. During Rita, we communicated via email on our status...we're upgrading this time. This blog will be our main communication tool, so keep checking back here for updates. If we lose internet access (likely), check the Twitter feed to the right, which I'll be updating from my cell phone as much as I can.
You can track the storm through the National Hurricane Center, or my new favorite site Storm Pulse. Fun (and frightening) discussion can be found at Storm2K.
Please be praying for everyone along the Texas coast, with particular selfish emphasis on my family.
