first day of Mother's Day Out!

Jono is going to MDO on Mondays and Wednesdays this year. Here he is with his bag all packed, ready for the first day of "school". He was so confused about why pictures were necessary after I had made the announcement that we were going "bye-bye".



About to be loaded into the car, still confused as to what all the fuss was about.



Thinking that this MDO thing might turn out alright!





He had a great day. No tears, lots of fun, and they even got him to lay down on a mat and take a nap. Miracle workers, those teachers!

There are ten 12-18 month olds and two teachers. Mrs. Donna (the legs in the last picture) actually lives right down the street! Her house is on one of my common walk routes. The babies and I often take a walk while David runs Jono through his bath/bedtime routine. We've seen her in her yard a couple of times since school started, and it's always fun to chat with her. Very nice lady. It makes a mama feel better about dropping her baby off at school.
