Happy Birthday!

We started the morning by opening some gifts from family. Jonathan and Charlie got to work playing Jono's new drums. Hazel pushed her new doll in Charlie's new truck.



Hazel was also a big fan of her bracelets from Aunt Carrie. Such a diva!

At our party, we read an ABC book, Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom.

Then the kiddos went on a hunt (think Easter egg-ish) for letters in the back yard. Later we had cake and presents from friends. Art supplies and puzzles were popular gifts this year.

They didn't really paint much, but seemed to enjoy the process. There was some drinking of the water, though, which is thoroughly disgusting.

On our first day of potty training the babies ran around naked. Here are some scenes from that (adorable!) day.

gymnastics!

Kids started a Monday afternoon gymnastics class today. They totally loved it and can't wait to go back. I forgot I had packed my camera until the last "event" so all I got was beam pics. The obstacle course and trampoline were by far the most entertaining to watch, though. I'll try to get some footage of those next week.

Rock-a-bye baby...

Even at nearly 3 years old, the swing is still good for putting a boy to sleep. Turns out that a half hour of pushing a swing in the mid-afternoon Houston heat isn't the most thing in the world to actually do, though.

(PS - For those who were wondering, he did transfer straight to bed without protest.)

Charlie's first haircut!

I cut off Charlie's little curly rat tail today. *sniff* It was just looking silly, though, and he still looks adorable without it.
