*sniff* He's getting so big!

As David was bathing Jono the other night I was summoned in to see his new tricks. Crazy daredevil.

He's been pulling up everywhere, but usually he's not quite as successful as he is in the bath. Suffice it to say that we are the proud new owners of one of those rings that you can use to sit bigger babies in the regular tub. We'll see how long it takes him to climb out of that!

vision for a gender neutral nursery!

My plans are coming together! Want to see what we're going to do?
  • Khaki paint (darker and warmer than the khaki in the hallways, etc) on the walls in the current office.
  • White furniture, includng the Hoosier cabinet that Grandude refinished, Jono's changing table, and cribs that match it.
  • Gathered crib skirts and curtain from this fabric (I bought tons of it this morning!).
  • A few store bought accessories for a splash of color--rug #1 and #2 for in front of cribs, mobile #1 and #2, and maybe these snuggly blankies #1 and #2 to finish it off.
  • And I'll probably do their names on the wall above their cribs like I did for Jono, in brown letters, hanging from either pink or blue ribbon.

What do you think? Has potential for cuteness, no?

What is this...

strange vegetable that Dad let me try while he was cooking dinner?

otherwise titled.. Jono tries bell pepper. Actually, he liked it pretty well! He loves to gnaw on celery sticks, too. We learned this when we took him with us to a wings restaurant. Not much for a 7 month old to eat at a wings place except celery sticks!

halfway!

I was 18 weeks as of yesterday, and my OB's goal for us is 36! Halfway! Now, it'd be great if the twins stayed put past 36 weeks, but making it that far significantly reduces the chances of them needing NICU care, which we want to avoid if possible. Progress!
