Birthday Boy!

Jonathan's first birthday is the 14th, but we thought that waiting to celebrate until next week might be pushing it with the pending arrival of the babies. This morning was Jono's "birthday observed." We had a small (mostly church friends) party at the park down the street with chocolate sprinkled donuts instead of cake. We made sure it was a low maintenance, easy party to cancel at the last minute if we had needed to. ;-)

and earlier this morning, checking out his birthday present from Mom and Dad. He showed absolutely no inclination to pull up on it and push it around. Eating the blocks was more fun. In time...
