Jono's new play room

I have long said that I was going to move the dining table into the living room and make the dining room a play room, but I thought I'd wait for that magic day when we replaced the carpet in the living room so we wouldn't be eating on carpet. Instead, the magic day was when the reflux baby playing on the carpet became more of a threat to that carpet than eating on it would be, so I made the switch. It's been almost a week, and I think all parties are pleased!

It still needs a lot. When he starts to crawl, I'll add 2 more "walls" (gates). It needs babyproofing--covering outlets and the like. Fortunately he's not shown any interest in those yet. And it's already cluttered and needs better toy storage. But, it's a good start and has lots of potential.
He's been really happy to play there while I've worked in the kitchen, which is something that has to happen a lot. Progress!

That's ingenious! Love the new blog. I was sad I wasn't going to be able to watch Jonathan grow. Awesome that you can post such good ultrasound pictures. Thanks for the invite!
