Blue Bell 5K Fun Run

Yesterday, I (David) took the kids to Brenham to run the 32nd Annual Blue Bell 5k Fun Run. That's 5 kilometers, 3 toddlers, 1 triple stroller, and at least a dozen Blue Bell ice cream novelties between the four of us. Great way to spend a morning.

For those interested, I finished 339th overall (out of 1164), 202nd in my gender (out of 421), 46th in my age group (out of 93), and 1st in the triple-stroller category (out of 1, based on personal observation) with a chip time of 30:36.

Here we are enjoying ice cream sandwiches after the race.

Hazel made such a mess that strangers asked to take her picture, just to document it. Here's our dainty little girl after  a full Strawberry Fruit Bar and 2/3 of a Cookies 'n' Cream Sandwich. She clearly feels the same way that I do about all-you-can-eat ice cream sandwiches.
