The highlight of the Memphis trip for the kids was the art goat in the lobby of our hotel. They gave it hugs, pats, and even kisses every time we walked past, and have asked for the goat several times since we returned. Who knew art goats were so exciting?

the laundry room...

loads of fun!

I finished my laundry room! I got the three kids' newborn out fits and David's newborn outfit framed in shadow boxes and hung. Well, David hung them. And a nice straight job he did, too! Plus, I got my first vinyl wall art. I've been wanting some for a while. My step-sister Anne has a tons in her house and they look awesome. Problem is that they're "removable, not reusable", which means that my kids can peel them off the wall and then I can't get it back on. A hard-to-reach place was a must if I wanted to try vinyl. Above the w/d was perfect. Cute, huh?




and because I felt like I was misrepresenting myself by taking pictures with a fully cleaned off top-of-washer/dryer, I took this last one. This is the minimum that lives there. At all times.

reminds me of that scene in ET. remember?
