crawling through the pirhana tank at the zoo!
Jono and Charlie stopped mid-tunnel to admire the flesh-eating fishes, but then continued on their way.

Hazel just sat there and held up traffic. :D

Jack and Jill, as Jono "reads" it...
Jono was flipping through our nursery rhyme book this morning and reciting the ones he knows along with the pictures. This was his reading of Jack and Jill:
Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down, and
Oh no! There's poo poo in there!!
followed by hysterical laughter.
Seriously? The little boy obsessed with potty jokes thing starts THIS early!? I'm amazed. And very amused. :D

Hazel came around the corner the other day, shuffling along in my fuzzy crocs (on the wrong feet, of course). :D I laughed, as she immediately brought to mind a photo from my baby book, at about the same age, of me wearing my Aunt Donna's shoes. Here they are, for comparison.
Erin, 20 months

Hazel, 19 months

A more characteristically Hazel face and pose. She's the squat-master.

yes, her shirt still has the sticker on it from the store. We had been trying on newly purchased spring/summer wardrobe items that day. It has since been removed. ;-)

new slipcovers!
I took this picture after I'd only put one of them on. They match now. ;-) But I got new THREE piece slipcovers. There's one for the body of the couch, one for the seat cushions, and one for the back cushions. And they're stretchy fabric, so in theory, they'll spring back to their correct location and not require much tucking maintenance from me. Fancy!
